where can i download scrap light spec sheets?

these sheets contain information on sizes, electrical requirements, bulb wattages, and fire ratings. if you have additional questions about our lights please check out the additional information below or contact us with any questions.

are graypants™ light fixtures UL listed?

all standard electrical components used in our lights have been fabricated in accordance with UL regulations. also, we're happy to work with commercial projects that require the entire lighting assemblies to be UL listed. this incurs an additional fee per fixture that varies depending on the order.

what about fire safety?

all of our lampshades are treated with a non-toxic, low-to-zero VOC, class-A fire retardant that has been extensively tested and meets numerous industry standards. [click here] to learn more.

what about bulbs?

all graypants fixtures work with a variety of bulbs, including LED and compact florescent energy saving bulbs. recommended bulb types and wattages can vary between fixtures, so we recommend downloading the latest spec sheets for this information. individual sheets are available on the product pages, and the entire set can be downloaded at the top of this page.

all graypants fixtures are provided with standard medium base E-26 lamp holders. other types of sockets and lamp holders are available at an additional charge, including GU-24 and 4-pin connections. please contact us if your project has specific requirements.

halogen lamps cannot be used.

is local pick-up an option?

absolutely! we welcome visitors, and picking up an order is better for your wallet and the environment! if you would like to swing by our studio, just contact us to schedule a time. to avoid shipping costs when purchasing through the online store, simply enter the text “localpickup” (as a single word with no spaces) into the “discount code” field of the checkout form. shipping charges will not be applied.

do you accept custom orders?

we’re happy to work with you! custom orders are subject to additional costs and longer lead times. we truly enjoy collaboration and encourage you to contact us with your ideas.

is the graypants online store secure?

yes! the graycart online store uses security encryption, and we will not share anyone’s personal information. if we need to, we might occasionally contact customers via phone or email regarding their current orders.

we respect the privacy of our visitors and want you to have fun browsing our website! the only time you may provide us with your personal information is when you request information or order products online. we will never allow your information to be made available to a third party.
